Description:
S4B, the Equitix-led partnership that includes Galliford Try, Mears and Contour Homes was employed by Manchester City Council to undertake the Brunswick PFI Regeneration Scheme.
The regeneration programme was established to transform the Brunswick area of East Manchester through a mix of new-build and refurbishment, providing 522 new homes as well as new community facilities, including an extra care centre and retail units.
As part of the refurbishments, several existing roads were targeted for repair works.
Subcontract works:
TPS were contracted by Gallifords to undertake the Road improvement works on Arkley Walk and Croxton Avenue.
TPS scope of works included the following:
- Earthworks
- Excavation of hard material
- Supply and installation Type 1 MOT (road & footways)
- Drainage
- Ducting
- Kerbs
