F Rudd & Sons is a Tomato distributor based in Knutsford, Cheshire. As part of an expansion to their business, F Rudd has contracted Cambridge HOK (CHOK) to oversee a 96m x 150m extension to the existing glass house facility.

Subcontract works:

TPS were awarded the Earthworks and civils package for the glasshouse extension via competitive tender.

TPS scope of works included the following:

• Site clearance
• Topsoil strip
• Earthworks cut & fill
• Excavation and formation of new reservoir
• Supply and installation of Type 1 MOT to perimeter access roads
• Drainage
• Ducting
• Supply and installation of reinforced concrete walkways / plant routes (power float finish)
